3 months agoGumshoe Community Would love to get some feedback so far on this platform, and what I can do to help improve it. My primary question revolves around cases. Do you think cases should be more streamlined in terms of not having separate sections for documents, activity feeds, and discussions? Should everything just be discussion threads? Open to ideas and other ways to improve the platform!

I like having the different section for documents.
My primary uploads will be videos and occasional articles. I like having the clearly defined posts for each that people can then discuss and comment on. I might create some “Theory” and “General Case Discussion” sections, though, now that I think of it.
I do really like the way this app is designed so far, though. Great work!

Hey, I was wondering if it’s possible to add a calendar app either for each case or just one for the whole app so that we can schedule the hearings and proceedings of ongoing cases?

Good question. Should everything be a discussion thread, like taking the site in the direction of a forum or link aggregator? Or perhaps the case sections could be improved and more specifically organised, taking the site more in a Wikipedia direction? Maybe consideration could be given to whether all cases will have timelines, documents, maps etc.? It’s a difficult question about the general direction so I’m not sure myself.
