Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka
Also known as the “Barbie Killers,” a chilling case of a couple that were involved with several sexual assaults and homicides, including Karla Homolka’s 15-year-old sister, Tammy Lyn.
This case takes place in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada in 1990.
It started with Paul sexually assaulting many young girls. He was known as the “Scarborough Rapist.”
Without ever getting caught, he then met Karla and they got married. Shortly after, they began sexually assaulting, recording and even murdering young girls if they did not comply. Between 1987-1982, Bernardo sexually assaulted at least 18 women, with the help of Karla Homolka, and killing 3 of them.
Tammy Homolka, Leslie Mahaffy, and Kristen French were the three homicide victims of the couple.
